CAROLE BLUM Carole Blum is an honor graduate of USC. She is also a graduate student in music and language at UCLA; and as a Fulbright finalist and Rotary Foundation International grant recipient, attended the Vienna Academy of Music and the Munich Hochschule fur Musik. Carole performs as a soloist throughout Southern California. She performed Pique Dame by Tchaikovsky for Opera Pacific. She also performed as alto soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the Korean Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1995 Carole took on her first Producer position for the Euterpe Opera Theater by producing Blue Monday by George Gershwin in co-production with Southeast Symphony. In 1998, Carole, as Executive Director, founded an advanced opera training center called Voicefest (which has been hosted by the University of Redlands) under the auspices of Euterpe Opera. In this training program Euterpe brought together 2 renowned opera trainers, Matthew Ferruggio, of San Francisco Opera, and Henrietta Pelta of Euterpe Opera. In 1999, she was named President of Opera and Musical Theater production for Euterpe Opera. Currently Carole continues her Euterpe Opera producer duties, and delivers vocal instruction, coaching and arts career consulting to budding professional artists of all disciplines. She is packaging a new concert series of baroque concerts with concert pianist Mario Fenninger and is in production on a duet concert series entitled Dueling Divas with the second diva, Robin Beaman, and arranger Stephen Orich.
