An Honors Graduate of the University of Southern California, Carole first developed her teaching skills under the tutelage of William Vennard and Eva Gustafson at the University.
Special teaching studies continued with Esther Andreas at California State University, Los Angeles and further in private studies with Dr. Dean Verhines, who has certified teachers under the world-renowned Garcia-Marchesi School. The Garcia-Marchesi School was first acknowledged widely in the United States through the New York studio of Paul Althouse in the 1950’s.

Carole also trained at the Vienna Academy. Along with the founder of Classical Singer Magazine, Carole was a member of the online voice teaching forum and a guest “speaker” online for many special forums and topics, as well as guest lecturer in Universities and at NATS conferences on the subjects of high school talent, vocal techniques and also the vital subject of communication skills to help all students understand and improve in the studio.

Carole has also perfected the use of classical technique for the musical theatre and for the popular singer, a thing that often gets overlooked due to a teacher’s own preferences or lack of understanding of that medium.
